BSF Head Constable RO / RM Recruitment 2023 Eligibility
Head Constable (Radio Operator):
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised Board, as well as a two-year Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in Radio and Television or Electronics or Computer Operator & Programming Assistant or Data Preparation & Computer Software or General Electronics or Data Entry Operator from a recognised Institute.
OR
Pass Intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognised Board, University, or Institution as a regular student with a minimum of 60% in PCM courses.
Head Constable (Radio Mechanic):
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised Board, as well as a two-year Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in Radio and Television or, General Electronics or, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant or, Data Preparation & Computer Software or, Electrician or, Fitter or, Info Technology & Electronics System Maintenance or, Comn Equipment Maintenance or, Computer Hardware or, Network Technician or, Mechatronics or, Data Entry Operator from a recognised Institute.
OR
Pass Intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognised Board, University, or Institution as a regular student with a minimum of 60% in PCM courses.
All the candidates appearing in this stage must have to qualify for the PST/PET and documentation for further appearing in the next stage (2nd written test i.e. descriptive).
c) THIRD PHASE – Final medical examination
d) FINAL RESULT – Final result will be prepared for HC (RO) & HC (RM) separately and merit will be prepared in the following manner:
HC (RO): Total marks obtained in the descriptive test and dictation tests out of total marks (100+100 respectively)
HC (RM): Total Marks obtained in descriptive test out of 200 marks

BSF Head Constable Exam Pattern 2023
The MCQ-type written test will be held at selected centers on the day and time specified by the HQ DG BSF.
For each multiple-choice question having two points, 0.50 points will be deduct for each wrong answer.
For each post, the question paper will be issued in both English and Hindi.
In the written examination MCQ paper will have 100 questions having 200 points, divided into four sections: –
